Following its successful launch in 2014, we are pleased to announce nominatons are now open for the 2015 UK [app] design awards. Celebrating creativity, courage and innovation in design achievements by both app creators and commissioners, the awards provide a unique opportunity for all sectors of the industry to participate across an extensive range of categories and achieve marketplace recognition.

With a growing, rapdily developing industry who are keen to showcase their work and create conversation, we eagerly await our 2015 nominations.

Over the last few years we have developed a thriving design community of design professionals and people in the marketplace who consume and commission a large percentage of the work nominated.

Join us as we celebrate courage and astounding achievements and developments in the [app] design industry.

Nominations extended beyond London Tech Week

Thanks for the feedback it appears that Royal Babies, Bank Holidays and a National Election were the top reasons that folks were asking for an extension, and we’ve heard you. So you’ve got until 24 June to get the late late nominations in. 

Time to get into gear and nominate your project into the UK [app] design awards – 20 categories will be awarded Gold and Silver plus 5 Gold categories for the best of the best.

Revised categories, more winners

We’ve had a mini revamp.  Taking stock from feedback received and our own reflection, we’ve done a review of our categories and consolidated into 20 open categories and 5 Best of the Best which we believe are more relevant to the 2015 marketplace.  While the list is shorter, with both gold and silver winners being awarded, there will be 50% more trophies than 2015 in the UK [app]design awards.  The deadline is looming so why not see what’s changed and see where you fit – now is your opportunity to join the shortlist and be in the running for a gold or silver award.

London, UK, June 18, 2014 The UK App Design Awards is pleased to announce the winners of the inaugural UK Awards.  Attracting over 160 entrants in its first year, some 30 category awards were announced including the coveted App Design Champion – Chairman’s Award awarded to Droidcon by Novoda.  The awards provide a unique opportunity for all sectors of the industry and marketplace to engage and extend the design conversation and to celebrate the courage of both commissioners and creators.
