2014 UK Mobile & App Design Awards

design100 is proud to extend its international design awards programs to Europe. This year our unique set of programs will be displaying excellence and creativity on three continents.

London is the first city to be chosen in Europe and it will launch the UK Mobile & App Design Awards. The app sector of the mobile space is the area that normally attracts the highest participation. It is the one area that is constantly changing and innovating and we’re very excited to see what the UK will provide.

The UK Mobile & App Design Awards celebrate creativity, courage and innovation in mobile achievements by both creators and commissioners, the awards provide a unique opportunity for all sectors of the industry to participate across an extensive range of categories and achieve marketplace recognition.

Best Mobile or App Startup

On 19th September we launched a Startup entry category for both Early Stage and In Market at Google Campus in London. Entries in the shortlist category will pick up a 70% entry discount - don't delay do something now to promote your Startup project and be in the running for the Best Mobile or App Startup.

Over the last few years we have developed a thriving community of design professionals and people in the market place who consume and commission a large percentage of the work entered.

The Australian Mobile & App Design Awards Announces Winners

Sydney, AUS, Wednesday 20 August 2014 - Winners of the 2014 Australian Mobile & App Design Awards were announced this evening. Over 30 category awards were announced including the coveted App Design Champion – Chairman’s Award awarded to Telstra for the 2nd year running. The awards provide a unique opportunity for all sectors of the industry and marketplace to engage and extend the design conversation and to celebrate the courage of both commissioners and creators.

The Awards were announced by design100 and App Design Awards Founder and CEO Mark Bergin. The Australian Mobile & App design Awards are supported by key collaboration partners and advisory panel members including Kirsten Mann - Acconex, Zoe Warne – August and Glen Barry– Genius Group and collaborative partners, Sydney Design Festival, AIMIA, Startup Victoria Barr, Mobile Monday and TRUSTe.

The UK Apps Design Awards has just announced that the entry deadline has been extended to 11 June. So for all those who missed out due to the recent bank holiday there's still time to get involved and join the Shortlist in over 30+ categories. All entries are also automatically eligible for the relevant "Best of" category - enter, view and rate now.

Mobile & App Design Awards and TRUSTe launch groundbreaking partnership to increase adoption of mobile privacy best practice across the industry

London – 15 May 2014 – TRUSTe, the leading global data privacy management company, today announced a partnership with the 2014 UK Mobile & App Design Awards, to champion mobile privacy best practice within the industry. The Awards are part of a global Grand Slam series including participants from UK, U.S., Asia and Australia, which recognises innovation and design within the mobile app ecosystem. As part of this partnership, for the first time ever, privacy will be an entry requirement for all award submissions in the UK awards and the US awards later this year.
