- Winner

Pulse 2014 is an enterprise data analytical reporting app for use by field retail marketing agents to facilitate training, point of sale placement, availability and product demonstrations at retail outlets across the UK. Unite Students: accommodation maintenance - UNITE Group / Mubaloo

In Field Services

Finalist

By mobilising its maintenance operations, Unite Students, the UK’s largest developer and operator of purpose built student accommodation, has seen a 30% increase in the number of jobs being completed since 2011. By working with enterprise mobility firm Mubaloo, Unite Students has been able to vastly improve the way they respond and report on maintenance issues. In 2014, following the success of their first app, Unite Students launched a second app, MyUNITE, aimed at students, creating a truly mobile first experience for logging and dealing with maintenance requests.

Aconex Mobile for Android - Aconex

In Field Services

Finalist

Whether you’re building a skyscraper, a bridge, an underwater tunnel, or an oil rig; you need the most current design and construction drawings right there in your hands.. not back in your office. Up until now though, those docs have only been available onsite in hardcopy (aka paper) with all the issues that entails. Aconex Mobile bridges this gap between where the info is and where it’s actually needed, ensuring you always have access to the most up to date data required to keep your project on track (and to stop it from literally falling over).

'JCS' - Internal App for Thames Water - P.N Daly / Red C

In Field Services

Finalist

The internal JCS app has transformed the original, time-consuming, paper-based system that was in place for communicating details of detected water leaks between Thames Water and P.N. Daly. Engineers out in the field now use the mobile app to easily log and send all required data. The GPS mapping feature helps users to locate and pin-point detected leaks and clients can now sign off the completed project there and then as well as provide feedback. In addition, engineers use the app to take photos and videos of the leaks which can be sent directly to back to admin staff.
