QuizTix was established in 2013 by Ian Masters, a BAFTA-nominated games designer, and Albert Marshall, a lawyer with over a decade of experience in games licensing and who has worked for Take-Two (Rockstar Games) and Sony PlayStation. Later that year they received seed funding from the Jensen Seed EIS fund.

Answer questions to win Tix and fill the stadium with colourful footie fans. Power your way to football trivia glory by tackling fascinating questions in categories like “Goal Scorers”, “Fame and Football”, and even “Animals and Football”.
Collect bonuses, complete daily challenges and unlock achievements.
Complete a block of seats to spin the bonus wheel and win Quiz Fizz and power-ups.
Who has the biggest crowd? Log in and compare your progress with friends. Be the king of the leaderboards and build up your Tix across all games.
Play solo or socially: play the full game offline or connect with others with full social features.
Stuck on a question? Ask friends for help via Facebook, Twitter and email OR use your question helpers to eliminate wrong answers.

Project Need
QuizTix's multi-title approach represents a new twist on on the typical freemium business model. Rather than needing to keep users playing one game for months or years we are building a catalogue of games, building a community by providing individual games aimed at different interest groups. We allow players to pick and choose the games that suit them, though they can still compete with friends across all games.
Each game is built using the same engine so while content differs, the experience remains consistent. When each new version is released the other games are updated with the latest features to match. This is easily achieved through a single integrated build system.
Each QuizTix game can be played to completion without paying a penny. Therefore, ad revenue is key and allows us to monetise our non-paying users. Importantly, users never see an advert unless they choose to! When players run out of energy we offer them the chance to watch a short video ad for a small energy top-up, meaning they can play a longer. This has lead to highly engaged users, lots of ad views, and players never being forced out of the game.
User Experience
Although the team have worked on games like Sonic, FIFA and GTA, we wanted to take that expertise to create a game that's accessible to even the most casual player. We want QuizTix to be enjoyed by people who have only ever used their smartphone to play solitaire or word games.
This principle has guided the entire design. For example when the game starts the player is given only a few simple instructions and immediately starts answering questions and making progress. Features such online play and those requiring facebook login are encouraged later and beneficial but never required. Even the game's menu is not introduced until day 3!
Project Marketing
Social media campaigns including above the line promotions and competitions on twitter, Facebook and YouTube.
Press releases and mail out to pr list including games journalists, national newspapers (we have had previous features for earlier versions of the game) and other games and soccer related websites.
Trailer as well as viral video production and distribution to media contacts and key influencers.
Joint promotions with media, soccer and other partners including well known football site/podcast "The Offside Rule".
We will also be carrying out on the ground events and taking advantage of opportunities that present themselves in this summer of football.
App store promotion.

1. We have a privacy policy attached to all our sites, apps and services.
2. we have registered our data processing with the Information Commissioners Office.
3. We comply with all the data privacy policies of all our partners such as Apple and Google.
