Project Brief
Bringing the user experience for searching & booking flights to the next level has been the driving inspiration behind the assignment. A multiskilled project team at Bravofly then started to work to enrich an app to make it user-friendly, accurately designed and with powerful features.
As mobile and app traffic are consistently growing within our brand proposition, so our Product Development teamed up with Mobile Marketing Strategy and User Interface to bring a massive improvement in the mobile experience for our users.
Project Need
A completely brand-new flight search system designed to surf more than 350 airlines worldwide and configure the travel solution that most suits your needs. Technology and design come together to bring you all the powerful features of our premium flight search engine on-the-go on your iPhone.
With a dramatic improvement of filters and an engaging design, you can now come up with the most convenient flight solution. Construct your trip from start to finish in terms of dates and timings with the intuitive timetable, whilst adding more details by tapping the filters on the screen to enrich your experience with Hotels, Cars, etc and then keep track of the status of your flight.
User Experience
We looked to our installed base community for a better understanding of the direction to take: this was crucial in order to raise the bar again and build a more clean but enjoyable experience, as well as make it appealing to everybody.
Several key improvements with both the iPhone and iPad release now include a faster flight search, an enriched menu to navigate more options across each page, internal memory of all recent searches, new sorting and filter options already at the first step of the flights results.
Hotels and car rental solutions at hand and the helpful time table for the most convenient flights around the dates you’ve chosen make your mobile travel experience complete.
Project Marketing
We promote the use of the Bravofly iOS app through an array of marketing communications, such as ad-hoc landing pages dedicated to the iOS mobile app on the Bravofly Rumbo Group network of websites, special showcase pages and tabs across the social networks of Bravofly.
In addition other marketing tactics include organic promotions via social media branded publishing, display campaigns inside website pages and email marketing vehicles as well as social advertising campaigns promoting the new features of the app.
Project Privacy
With the Bravofly iOS app, the user’s credentials are transmitted over an SSL encrypted link to the server to guarantee the highest level of protection.
Users’ details are stored in encrypted format on the device, so no sensitive information can be leaked. At the same time, during booking, users’ personal and financial data are protected and transmitted to Bravofly Rumbo Group’s secure payment gateway.
Moreover, users can connect to their personal page with their own login and password to secure the maximum level of privacy with a space where all relevant information are stored to fit the best customized experience.
