Founded in 2013 by Angus McLachlan and Shashi Fernando, ex-CCO and board member of HTC, Boppl has grown into a team of designers, developers, problem solvers, engineers, thinkers and tinkers, designing the most powerful platform for ordering and analytics.
Boppl today has been awarded in Mobile Entertainment's Top 50 for Mobile Innovation, Mashable's Top 20 Apps for A Big Night Out, and recently a finalist for Mobile Payment by Contactless & Mobile Awards, 2014.
Project Brief
Boppl allows everyone to order and pay with their mobile. We are a service platform connecting people with great places for food and drink nearby.
Boppl removes the friction of payments, making it easy for businesses to interact and transact with everyone nearby.
Project Need
We create innovation linking truely accurate customer behaviour and demographic detail to every transaction.
Boppl allows venues to accept, process, analyse and learn from every customer; from product trends to location and purchasing behaviour analytics.
Venues are now able to access clear, real-time data and make smart, immediate decisions; like offering different menu specials when the weather swings, or increasing lunch trade by opening 30 minutes earlier.
User Experience
No need to leave your seat, Boppl allows anyone to order and pay with their mobile.
For venues, no new hardware makes it very simple to setup and use. Boppl has the ability to integrate with most major POS systems, both server and cloud-based. This integration enables any system to accept and process orders.
Project Marketing
The most important thing for us, building a complete network, is to help build better relationships with the customer. At present, we are focused on helping venues achieve this through an intuitive, accessible and intelligent platform.
Project Privacy
We believe in giving people the tools to control their privacy. There is no single solution to privacy and security; it is always changing and it's important to be ahead of everyone else.
To protect venues and their customers, all information is encrypted to our servers, regardless of the connection or data service. With privacy and security two of our biggest priorities, no sensitive data is ever stored on a device, and Boppl is proud in complying with all required PCI standards.
